Honoring Our Veterans!

The Rio Grande Valley Hispanic Genealogical Society honored and celebrated the Rio Grande Valley Veterans on Sunday, November 12th, with a special presentation by Lt. Col. USAF (Ret.) Jaime Ruben Caballero and Mrs. Bertie Lucio Caballero, writers and editors, of the newly published book, Our Heroes: Rio Grande Valley Veterans, Vol. II. The Caballeros awarded each Veteran whose narrative was submitted to be published in this special book with a complimentary copy of the book and a BBQ plate. The event took place at Reyna's BBQ in Harlingen, Texas.
